What is Live Event Illustration?
Live portraits are a brilliant way to engage with your guests, get to know your community and provide some interactive fun at an event. I love doing live illustration because I get to meet, chat to and draw so many interesting people.
I can do live event illustration at small gatherings, community and brand events.
How does it work?
I take a friendly photo of your guest and do a speedy portrait with brush pen and watercolour which usually takes 6-8 minutes. I can also draw couples in one drawing with an extra few minutes. Each guest can take home their final portrait as a special keepsake at the end of the event.
I provide all the materials, I just need a table with two chairs and good lighting.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can draw 6-10 people per hour. However the number of people I draw really depends on how keen people are to get drawn and how long the gaps between people are!
My prices start at £125 per hour and my minimum booking time is 2 hours for London events or 3 hours further afield.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This is non refundable unless there is unforeseeable circumstance on my part. The remaining fee is due 30 days upon receipt of my invoice, which I’ll send after the event.
Alternatively, I can attend an east London community event for free and charge each guest a small fee of £7.99 per person.
I use brush pens and watercolour which gives a unique and personal touch to each illustration.
Weddings - unfortunately not right now due to the sheer number of guests. However if it is a small, intimate wedding then get in touch and I will see what I can do.
Private Parties - yes, depending on the logistics and location.
